George Washington Memorial Parkway Project NPS-GWMP 203(1), Iwo Jima Memorial, in Arlington County, Virginia, consists of the reconstruction of the Memorial loop which includes removal of asphalt pavement, roadway excavation, aggregate base, hot asphalt concrete pavement, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Removal of asphalt pavement, 9,200 Square meters; Roadway Excavation, 2,000 Cubic meters; Aggregate Base, 5,500 Square meters; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement, 2,300 metric ton; Asphalt concrete sidewalk, 3,000 square meters. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000 and has a construction completion date of October 15, 1995.
