70 -- PROCUREMENT OF CANDLE CORPORATION SOFTWARE LICENSE AND UPGRADES SOL ATD-124-TA-95/0349 POC Contact Tom Antoniel, (205)544-5087 CSC intends to negotiate only with Candle Corporation for the upgrade of Candle software licensed products from a Group 40 to a Group 70/80 Mainframe currently installed at NASA's ADP Consolidated Center (NACC) located at Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. The products to be upgraded are: Two (2) copies of Omegamon II MVS/ESA and one (1) copy of Omegamon VM/XA/ESA. CSC also intends to acquire one (1) copy of CL Supersession MVS/ESA for a Group 70/80 machine. Interested persons have 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities (i.e.,technical specifications, brochures, and price list with proposed discounts) in the critical areas mentioned above. Such qualifications/capabilities/and pricing (with proposed discounts) will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
