PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Presolicitation information is requested for project to remove existing atmospheric type natural gas train components, boiler trim, operational controls and safety devices in buildings 20, 36, 513 and 761 and replace with new water tube type boilers incorporating approved low NOX burners and third party testing requirements for compliance with Ventura County Air Pollution Control District. Work includes minor modifications to existing piping, flue stack, and electrical to accomodate new boiler systems and incidental related work. The Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1711; the small business size standard is $7.0 million. The estimated cost range of this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. Anticipated performance time is 180 calendar days. Plans and specifications are anticipated to be available on or about 24 April 1995, until supply is exhausted. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% small disadvantaged business (SDB) set-aside firm-fixed price contract.
