Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment to complete renovation of a frame and brick, single-story, full unfinished basement, of a former quarters building with approximately 400 square meters of first floor area. Interior work to include, but not limited to demolition, asbestos abatement, new heating system, new plumbing, new electrical, new roof, new windows, and a revised interior floor plan. The new interior will include six (6) bedrooms, four (4) baths, kitchen, two (2) laundry rooms, and a living room. Exterior work includes chimney removal, new porches, siding and trim repair, new sidewalks, handicapped ramp, parking stalls, new paint, brick tuck point, and partial new foundations. The plans are dimensioned using International System of Units (SI) (Metric) ``soft conversion'' wherein metric equivalents are substituted for standard inch-pound measurements. The estimated price is between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. The proposed contract listed herein is set aside for 100% Indian-owned, controlled, and operated firms under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. In accordance with the Public Health Service Acquisition Regulation Paragraph 380.503(e), not more than fifty (50) percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract awarded pursuant to the Buy Indian Act shall be subcontracted to other than Indian firms. For this purpose, work to be performed does not include the provision of materials, supplies, or equipment. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
