Pending internal approval, the Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue orders on multiple occasions for a two year period against Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-95-G-5623 with Westinghouse Norden Systems, Norden Place, P.O. Box 5300, Norwalk, CT 06856. Orders will be issued for engineering services and support for the AN/SPS-67 Radar. This includes services and support for installation, checkout, testing, or repair of any Field Change Kits and peripheral equipment associated with the AN/SPS-67 Radar. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Westinghouse Norden is the sole producer of the AN/SPS-67 Radar. It is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
