This is to advise that the Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to extend Contract HC-14887, with Data Prompt, Incorporated (DPI), of Silver Spring, Maryland, for a period not to exceed three (3) months. The purpose of this extension is to allow sufficient time to implement transition/closedown and Phase In/Out of contract activities and conversion of the Single Family Accounting Management Systems database to the Department. This extension will provide uninterrupted service to continue the cash and asset management activities currently supported by SAMS and prevent the degradation and loss of $1.9 billion in single family acquired properties owned by the Department. This is not a formal solicitation, but an effort to determine potential interest and the availability of qualifed and responsible organizations that may be able to meet this requirement. The Government does not require individual acknowledgement by potential respondents. However, concerns that respond to this notice should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to the Contracting Officer at the address above not later than 45 days from the date of this publication.
