USDA, Forest Service, Shasta-Trinity National Forest is issuing a solicitation to perform manual release on approximately 171 acres of National forest land on the Shasta Lake Ranger District, Shasta County, California. A 4-foot radius will be released from competing vegetation on 5-year-old planted conifers. Contract time is approximately 42 calendar days with an estimated start date of May 22, 1995. A pre-bid tour may be held on Wednesday, April 26, 1995 at 10:00 am to view the project site. Prospective bidders should meet at Big Bend Guard Station, Big Bend CA.
