The Commerce Business Daily announcement which appeared in Issue Number PSA-1229, dated November 25, 1994, the subject ''Conduct a Resident Biomedical Research at the NIH'' has been revised to read as follows: The National Institutes of Health, Office of the Director intends to negotiate a three year renewal of contract number No1-OD-6-2107 with the National Academy of Sciences for the NIH Intramural Resident Research Associateship Program in Biomedical Research. This program is designed to further the purposes of the NIH by identifying and allowing Research Associates to increase their proficiency in research, to advance the research program of the sponsoring laboratories and to permit the scientific community access to governmental resources and facilities. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302.1. The National Academy of Sciences is the only responsible source for providing the measure of expertise, independence, objectivity, and scientific acceptance necessary to meet the requirements of this acquisition.
