The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure three each radar surveillance systems. All three systems shall have the following options: XN4A - 8 foot antenna and an RU-1746B-2 Rectifier for 115VAC operation. Two of the systems shall include the following additional options: RP15 Video Plotter, ARP15 Target Tracking auto Plotter, and a GC-8 Gyro Interface Board. These radar systems are for surveillance of a river/harbor area. They will be located at permanent ground sites, not on board ships. They will also be used to collect data from various operations occurring within this area. It is necessary that the raster image display be easily convertible to RS-170 format for video recording. The systems will consist of a small pedestal containing the transceiver and antenna interconnected to a desktop style console. The console will be one person operable utilizing a trackball type of pointer for designating targets and for making position measurements. The console and pedestal will be interconnected via a single multi-wire cable and operated on 115v AC power. Additional salient characteristics shall be identified in the anticipated solicitation. The Standard Identification Code (SIC) for this effort is 3812, Radar Systems and Equipment.
