Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evi- dence of capability to perform and positive statement of eligi- bility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged busi- ness concern. Proof of bonding is required. If adequate inter- est is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation WILL BE ISSUED AS UNRESTRICTED. AMMENDMENT WILL FOLLOW. Therefore, replies to this notice are encouraged from ALL TYPES OF BUSINESS- ES as well as SDB concerns. Estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Complete no later than 180 calendar days. Work consists of: Building 332, removal of existing Boiler #3 and installing and setting a new boiler in operation in its place. In addition, existing Boilers #1 and #2 shall be retrofitted to burn #2 oil and natural gas. Building 3138, removal of three existing masonry based 175 HP steam built- up boilers and one 180 HP steel package boiler with associated piping, controls and support items of equipment.
