The Forest Service is currently completing renovation plans for the existing visitor center and outside areas. The intent is to provide construction drawings and specifications for the exhibits within the visitor center as well as Photo Point Trail displays, the arrival and orientation area displays, other outside structure displays, and all other inside and outside displays. The contract period will be approximately 310 calendar days with an estimated start work date of mid-to-late June, 1995. The Pre-Proposal conference is scheduled for 10:30am on April 13, 1995 at the Juneau Ranger District Office, 8465 Old Dairy Rd., Juneau, Alaska. Evaluation factors for award will include: experience, qualifications, and capability of the firm; experience, qualifications, and management of key personnel and subconsultants; technical approach; and past performance.
