M -- CONCESSION PERMIT SOL TICA001 POC Contact Superintendent, Roy Cordell, 801/756-5239 Public notice is hereby given that the National Park Service proposes to award a concessions permit for a concessioner to provide fast food and beverage service and souvenir sales for the public at Timpanogos Cave National Monument in Utah for a period of approximately four (4) years from January 1, 1995, through December 31, 1998. It is the intention of the National Park Service to recognize the current concessioner's right of preference to renew during the award of the new permit. Interested parties should contact the Superintendent, Timpanogos Cave National Monument for information as to the requirements of the proposed permit. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The foregoing concessioner has performed its obligations to the satisfaction of the Director under an existing permit which expired by limitation of time on December 31, 1994, and therefore, pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of the Act of October 9, 1965, 79 Stat. 969; 16 U.S.C. 20, is entitled to be given preference in the negotiation of a new permit as defined in 36 CFR, 51.5. The Director will consider and evaluate all offers received as a result of this notice. Any offer, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Superintendent, Timpanogos Cave National Monument not later than the sixty (60th) day following publication of this notice to be considered and evaluated.
