Wildlife Service has the need to Procure a 24 ft aluminum smallboat &
trailer primarily for use in harsh weather and water conditions. This
boat must be able to handle rough waters easily and provide a safe
platform to conduct law enforcement and visitor contact activities by
the Agency, away from the security of a cabin site. Basic specs are as
follows: .250'' thick, full/deep V hull. Minimum .88 thick 37'' high
sides w/double reinforcing ribs 12'' apart, minimum of 6 full length,
fully welded, strakes. Beam - 8.5' (102''), maximum 2' draft, walk
around deck, 8 ft long pilothouse, full width of boat with 6' 1''
interior clearance. Trailer specs: low cost galvanized (EZ loader type)
boat trailer. Outboard motors will be supplied by the U.S. Government.
Completed boat must be delivered F.O.B. King Salmon, Alaska ready for
operation on or before August 15, 1995. Inspection will be at
manufacturers plant and seatrial will be required, acceptance will be
