Transducer Hull Rings/Renew Depth Indicator Transducers, (4) Renew
Radar Pedestal, (5) Remove/Inspect/Reinstall Rudder Assys, (6)
Clean/Inspect Sewage and Grey Water Collection and Holding Tanks, and
Preserve, (7) Clean/Inspect/Disinfect Potable Water Tanks, (8) Provide
Temporary Logistics, (9) Routine Drydocking, (10) Renew Corrosion
Preventive Zinc Anodes, (11) Overhaul Anchors/Chains, (12) Modify JP-5
Sys, (13) Remove High Pressure Compressed Air System, (14) Renew Rope
Guards, (15) Clean/Inspect Diesel Fuel Tanks, (16) Renew Evaporator

Fuel Oil, (8) Provide Temporary Berthing, etc. A charge of $100.00 is
required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable
to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. All other referenced
documents are available for viewing at building 400N, Governors Island,
NY. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and specifications will be
issued on or after 24 Mar 95. All responsible sources may submit a bid
which shall be considered by the United States Coast Guard. For

Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to
