This project is to provide Architectural-Engineering (A-E) Services for investigation, design and construction inspection for ADAL Medical Training Facility, Project CRWU 949524, at Buckley Air National Guard Base, Aurora, Colorado. Services required are investigation and design analysis (Type A Services), preparation of construction documents (Type B Services), and, at the option of the government, construction supervision and inspection (Type C Services). The project shall consist of 2,200 square foot (more or less) addition to an existing medical training facility. Work will include, but is not limited to mechanical, electrical, and fire protection. Estimated cost of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed services will be procured by a negotiated fixed-price contract. Estimated design start date is 30 May 1995. Significant evaluation factors and their relative order of importance in the selection process are as follows: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services. (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. (3) Capacity and resources to accomplish the work in the required time. (4) Past performance on contracts with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and strict compliance with performance schedules. (5) Location in the general geographic area of the project and knowledge of the locale of the project. (6) Quantity of work awarded with DOD agencies in the last twelve months. Firms meeting requirements described in this announcement and wishing to be considered must submit copies of SF 254 and SF 255 on or before 4:00 P.M., 30 days from the date of appearance of this announcement in the CBD. Should the due date fall on a weekend or holiday, the SF 254 and SF 255 will be due the first weekday thereafter. This is not a Request for Proposal.
