A -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT SERVICES DUE 031795 POC Bruce I. Brody, Contract Specialist, (908)532-0044 This is a sources sought synopsis for Operation and Maintenance Support Services for the Electronics & Power Sources Directorate and the Operations Directorate of the Army Research Laboratory located at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. The acquisition will be for a twenty-four (24) month period of performance with one twelve (12) month option. Support responsibilities will include technical support services for in-house R&D facilities and associated equipment. EPSD maintains its principal research and development facilities on the first, second and fourth floors of the Myer Center and some annexes in the general Fort Monmouth Area. Technical activities include Microcircuits, Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, Electronic Materials, Displays and Power Sources. EPSD's operation is significantly automated and involves the use of more than three hundred personal computers, workstations and minicomputers. The contractor will reside on-site in Government provided facilities and provide a work force for specific tasks ranging from professional support for R&D task to equipment maintenance, software and logistics support. The size standard applicable to this acquisition in millions of dollars is 20. Interested concerns must submit three copies of the information specified in Note 25 on or before 17 Mar 95. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this synopsis. Responding concerns must indicate whether or not they are a Small Business Concern.
