CLARKE, 805-982-5106 Marine engineering and technical services are required in support of the Ocean Construction Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, Washington, D.C. The emphasis of the required support will be for the inspection, installation, maintenance and repair of mooring and cable related projects throughout the world. This support may be required in the form project planning; systems design, fabrication, testing, repair, installation and quality control for moorings and cable projects; preliminary environmental assessments, preliminary environmental impact statements and/or permit and compliance documentation; technical and economic feasibility studies; site survey services to include bathymetric, side-scan, and geotechnical survey services; underwater inspection and ROV services; integrated surface and sub sea positioning and navigation services; engineering analysis; design and fabrication of prototype moorings and cable components and installation equipment; fabricate, maintain, repair, recover, and/or install ocean mooring, cable and related projects; logistics support for at sea and port operations, and cable static and dynamic analysis. The anticipated contract is a cost plus fixed fee delivery order contract consisting of a base year plus three one year options.
