The 121 ARW at Rickenbacker IAP, Columbus Ohio intends to place a delivery order against the Motorola nonmandatory GSA schedule contract (GS00K93AGS0680PS02). The order shall consist of 26 ea H43OXJ7139 N Saber II Series radios with the following accessories: H223 Intrinsically Safe Radios Batteries, H260 Omit Program and H366 Wide Space 148-174MHz. 11 ea H430XK7139 N Saber III radios with the following accesories: H223 Intrinsically Safe Radio Batteries, H260 Omit Program and H366 Wide Space 148-174MHz. 11 ea H430XK7139 N Saber III radios with the following accessories: H223 Intrinsically Safe Radio Batteries, H260 Omit Program Frequency and H366 Wide Space 148-174 MHz. Must be intrinsically safe, be IAW MILSTD 810C/D, offer DES (digital encryption signal) and be compatible with existing Motorola land based mobile radios/accessories. To include DES-XL or FASCINATOR capability. Vendors who are able to provide this equipment or equal are invited to identify their ability to meet this requirement by submitting a proposal to include technical data, pricing and other relevant information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement with alternate equipment. All submissions must includedocumentation and current pricing indicating how their alternate equipment is equal to that identified above to the 121 ARW Contracting Office. It is the vendor's responsibility to provide sufficient technical data to allow the Base to discern the applicability of the alternate equipment. The pricing submitted should assume similar terms and conditions as those contained in the Motorola GSA Schedule. The 121 ARW will consider documentation submitted by all responsible sources within (15) calendar days after publication of this notice. No contract award will be made on the basis of any response to the notice since the synopsis of intent to place an order against a GSA schedule is not considered a Request for proposal/quotation. No Solicitation documents exist and no telephone inquiries or facsimiles shall be accepted. If there is not affirmative written response to the effect that a comparable source is available and that it is more advantageous to the Government than acquiring off the GSA schedule, an award will be placed under schedule GS00K93AGS0680PS02.
