Research and Development Center is producing a visionary study of
technology and systems to support the U.S. Coast Guard in the 21st
Century. This information will be used to plan how the Coast Guard
performs its missions in the next century. Some of the areas the Coast
Guard has interest in are: marine engineering, fire safety, human
factors, communications, information systems, sensor technology,
surveillance systems, navigational systems, and waterways management.
The Coast Guard is interested in sources with experience and ability to
produce a technology study. Information submitted should be pertinent
and specific in the technical area under consideration for the
following areas: (1) Experience: an outline of previous projects,
specific work previously performed or being performed and any in-house
research and development effort; and (2) Any other specific and
pertinent information as pertains to this particular area of interest
that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information
submitted. Interested sources should submit literature pertaining to
this subject to Contracting Officer (fp), U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 15
Mohegan Avenue, New London, CT 06320-4195 by 28 April 1995. This
