The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals to furnish all labor, materials, and transportation to provide reproduction uniforms and equipment of C. Company 3rd U.S. Infantry July 1868 for Fort Larned National Historic Site. Work includes manufacturing and delivery of reproduction uniforms and equipment as follows: (1) Clothing in medium and large sizes: Forty-eight (48) dress hats, model 1858, Hardee, with all trim and brass of C. Company, 3rd U.S. Infantry; Eighteen (18) Forge cap, model 1858, with brass; Forty-eight, Frock coat, infantry (1-First Sgt., 1-Q.M. Sgt, 3-Sgts, 4 Corp) - musician, 38-privates); Forty-eight (48) shoulder scales, complete, pairs; Eighteen (18) sack coats, fatigue, lined (1-sgt, 3-corp, 14-privates); sixty-size (66) overcoats, dismounted; sixty-six (66) trousers, dismounted, (6-Sgts, 7-Corp, 2-musicians, 51-Privates); Twenty-five (25) shirts, (14-military, cream flannel, 11-Civilian, checks and stripes); Sixty-six (66) military shoes; (2) Equipment: sixty-six (66) blankets, with stitched US; sixty-six (66) canteens, with cloth covers and sling; sixty-six (66) Haversacks; sixty-six (66) knapsacks; seventy-five (75) infantry accoutrements, (Cartridge box and plate, waistbelt and plate), (12-sgts, 63-privates) bayonet frog and scabbard; two (2) drum, painted eagle with sling; one (1) Guidon with pole, right guide; and seveny-five (75) slings for Model 1866 rifle. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. All requests must be submitted in writing, to Robin Butler, Procurement Technician.
