The size standard is $7 million. The work includes replacement of existing roofing with new Built-up Roofing and incidental related work, including flashings, sealants, ductwork and drain modifications, and replacement of a skylight in buildings 660, 3040, 3044 and 24008. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Building 212, first floor, plans and specs room of the Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation for the plans and specs office is 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will only be one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans/specs and bidders lists should be made separately to avoid confusion at the plans/specs office. This also applies to requests for numerous solicitations.
