S. EPA's Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Laboratory (RSK-ERL) is seeking to acquire a closed-circuit respirometer. It shall have the following abilities: (1) Automatically measure both the change in oxygen (0-21%) and carbon dioxide (0-10%) in head space of a measuring vessel. (2) Capability to measure methane (0-10%). (3) Sensitivity of 2 x 10 liters per hour and an accuracy of 2% of reading or minimum sensitivity, whichever is greater. (4) Contain a built-in automatic volume measurement capability and an automatic refresh system which allows for the gas in the head space of the measuring vessel to be replaced periodically with fresh gas. (5) Able to make these measurements with liquid, paste, or solid materials. (6) Operate from an industry standard personal computer and provide disk storage and printing of data. (7) Contain a minimum of 80 experimental systems capable of concurrent operation. The proposed acquisition shall include the following: (a) Firm Fixed Price - FFP. (b) Delivery within 90 days of contract award. (c) One year warranty. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be evaluated and considered by EPA.
