Z -- AIRCRAFT APRON UPGRADE (E-RAMP) & REPAIR HYDRANT FUELING SYSTEM, MOUNTAIN HOME AFB, ID SOL DACA67-95-B-0029 DUE 042495 POC Contact, Mary Mitton, (206) 764-6806 Demolish approximately 92,000 square yards of existing 4- inch AC pavement, together with the underlying 8-inch PCC (assumed reinforced) and 31-inch base and subbase materials. Repave this area (in 20-foot squares) with 18 inches of PCC, 6 inches of free-draining base course, 4 inches of NFS dense-graded aggregate separation (filter) course, and 15 inches of NFS subbase course. Provide perforated drain laterals in the new pavement to tie into existing storm drains. Provide blast fencing. Repair deteriorated electrical control and power system in fuel pits. Repair pit piping system. Replace deteriorated hydrant cans and laterals and provide pipe containment. Remove and replace sump system. Replace existing vault lids with watertight lids to maintain hydrant fuel pits. Plans and specs available on or about 23 Mar 95 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are available.
