Number R052-95. This procurement is a 100 percent Small Business
Set-Aside. The proposed procurement action is to acquire a Turn-key
instrumentation system with a fiber optic based interconnect media
between test bays and control room consisting of fiber-optic cable,
installation, fiber-optic cable interface hardware, ten channel
fiber-optic serial interface, two channel video transmitter/receiver
fiber-optic interface; telex intercom fiber-optic interface; serial
RS422/TTL fiber-optic interface; TTL discrete fiber-optic
interface/relay output; signal conditioning system, transducer signal
conditioning; analog encoder/data multiplexer, system
controller/decom/analog output. Offeror shall be responsible for
providing a fully integrated single source, turn-key system completely
installed and ready to use at the Government test facility.
Fiber-optic interface shall provide for the communication of analog,
digital, voice and video data. The system is required to meet
increasing instrumentation and data reduction requirements. State of
the art performance is required and the performance criteria is
specified in the solicitation. The effort consists of a basic
requirement and four options: Basic system includes fiber optics lines,
support hardware, instrumentation, and system integration; Option I -
16 channel bay instrumentation addition 1; Option II - upgrade
instrumentation addition 1 from 16 to 32 channels; Option III - 16
channel bay instrumentation addition 2; Option IV - upgrade
instrumentation addition 2 from 16 to 32 channels. Delivery 120 days
after award. Firm-fixed-price type contract is contemplated. Request
