Construction is required to provide materials, hardware, equipment, labor, supervision to furnish and install a wheelchair lift system on the stairway connecting the 1st floor control wing to the 2nd floor administration wing in the Air Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) at 1850 South Sigsbee Street, Indianapolis IN 46241. The issue date is on or about 18 March 1995. Price range for this project is between $25,000.00 to $50,000.00. This solicitation is open to both small and large businesses. FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantagesd Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire to any eligible prime working capital and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firm to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available undet the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
