COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF FEBRUARY 24,1995 PSA#1290U. S. ARMY MISSILE COMMAND'S (MICOM'S) ADVANCED PLANNING ACQUISITION
INFORMATION (APAI) The U. S. Army Missile Command (MICOM) has published
a forecast of projected requirements for FY 95 and FY 96. This listing
is entitled the ``Advanced Planning Acquisition Information (APAI)''
and serves as a market survey technique to increase competitive
acquisition opportunities for MICOM acquisitions. Also, Procurement
History Data is now available. This information can be accessed through
the Acquisition Center's Electronic Bulletin Board System (BBS). The
BBS is a menu-driven system which requires a minimum of explanation to
use. To login to the BBS, modem settings should be 300 to 9600 baud,
8 bit, 1 stop bit, no parity, and terminal emulation to VT100. The BBS
number is 205-955-8245 or 205-955-8176. Once you are connected, hit
return and a service prompt will appear. At this prompt, type PROC and
hit return. You will then be prompted to enter a login (BBS) and
password (USER). You should now be connected to the BBS. As a note,
once you select APAI, an option menu will appear as follows: Depot
Maintenance and Repair. Repair Parts. Major Weapon Systems.
Miscellaneous (Non-Weapon Systems). Help. The Major Weapon Systems and
Miscellaneous options will not be available until 1 Apr 95. You are
