Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340-2799 C -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AT US
POSTAL SERVICE OWNED AND LEASED FACILITIES IN THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA

contract for general environmental services, with a $5,000 guaranteed
amount, will be for two years with individual work orders being issued
on design and supervision on projects involving asbestos abatement,
lead paint removal, UST contamination assessment and remediation, site
contamination assessments, environmental impact assessment/statements,
etc. Firms must have thorough knowledge of all EPA, OSHA and other
Federal, State and Local laws and regulations that apply to these types
of projects. The contract may be renewed for three one-year periods.
Total contract cannot exceed $1,500,000. No work order can exceed
$200,000 in fees. Individual work orders may be issued for different
geographical areas within the State or occasionally for projects in
other states within the Southeast area. Firms that possess the
qualifications to perform the services described above are invited to
submit two (2) completed SF 255, ``Architect-Engineer and Related
Services Questionnaire for Specific Project,'' two (2) completed SF 254
``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire'' and two (2)
completed SF 254 for each of its proposed consultants to the office
shown above, postmarked not later than March 24, 1995. The selection
will be conducted with the combined use of the submitted SF 255 and SF
254s. Interested firms with multiple offices must indicate on the SF
255 the staffing composition of the office in which the work will be
performed. Firms must have registered/certified professionals employed
in the following required personnel classifications: Planner, Civil
Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Geologist/Hydrologist and Industrial
Hygienist. Consideration will be given to firms responding to this
advertisement in accordance with foregoing instruction in the following
order of preference: (1) Local: within Palm Beach, Dade or Broward
counties, (2) State of Florida, (3) Out of State. Architectural and
engineering firms will be considered as local only if their sole office
is in the local geographical area or they have a local branch office
and all of the architectural design, coordination and management of the
project will be accomplished in that office. There is no restriction on
the geographical location of consultants. Firms must provide proof of
errors and ommisions insurance, minimum $200,000 per claim, with
submittals (two copies). Participation of Minority Business Enterprise
is a consideration in US Postal Service Architect-Engineer selections.
It is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage or brokerage
fee to any person or firm contingent upon, or resulting from award of
contract for this project. No other general notification for this
contract will be made. Submissions will not be retained or returned.
