This is an amendment to an announcment that appeared in the Commerce Business Daily (Issue No. PSA-1175, page 3) on 7 Sep 94. This is to announce that the DISC program will use the Research and Development Streamlined Contracting Procedures as announced in the Federal Register, Volume 58, Number 211, Wednesday, November 3, 1993. Under these test procedures the Request for Proposal will be placed in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). A supplemental package, containing the Statement of Work and Data will be issued to those Contractors on the source list concurrent with the RFP release in the CBD. Those firms who previously responded to the synopsis need not formally request the supplemental package. Other interested sources must request the supplemental package in writing. Contact with the technical program office is permissible until RFP release in the CBD. DISE is a full and open competion acquisition. (0053)
