The government intends to make award to Thompson Components and Tubes Corporation for a quantity of 9 each Thompson THX7887A Area Array CCD Image Sensors. This set of state-of-the-art equipment shall consist of: Nine 1024 x 1024 pixel area array CCD image sensors. Each sensor with a shielded memory zone for frame transfer operation; each sensor with 4 outputs of 256 x 1024 pixels at 20 MHz each; pixel size of 14 micron x 14 micron, image zone size of 14.24 mm x 14.34 mm; 60 images/second frame rates; anti-reflection window in the 400-700 nm bandwidth; overall chip size of 55.88 mm x 33.5 mm; optical distance between photosensor and external surface of window of 2.15 mm; technical specifications and data sheets stating drive circuit requirements. Thompson Components and Tubes Corporation is the only known manufacturer of sensors meeting the size, speed, operating speed requirement, and operating requirements. Delivery Required: 1 May 1995.
