Public notice is hereby given that the National Park Service is announcing its intention to evaluate potential business interest in a hostel concession off of Old Mine Road in the northeast section of the park in New Jersey. It lies four miles south of U.S. Route 206 and two miles north of U.S. 209 via Digman's Bridge, which spans the Delaware River. The village of Hainesville is nearby. The hostel facility consists of a main building, detached double garage, woodshed, and garden shed. The main building is a 1 1/2 story wood frame structure with approximately 3,000 square feet of living space, a porch, and a full basement. It contains two dormitory rooms with six bunk bids in each room for guests, two full bathrooms, kitchen, large living room, and a bedroom for the managers. Privacy is limited: the resident managers must share all portions of the common living space with the hostel's guests. The facility accommodates a maximum of 16 people per night. The concessioner currently grosses about $7,000 annually. Major repairs are the responsbility of the government; all routine upkeep and maintenance is the responsiblity of the concessioner. Improvements are the property of the federal government.
