LITCO, the prime operating contractor for the Department of Energy at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) is seeking cooperative research and development partners who have experience and expertise in compressed gas valve design. LITCO has proprietary designs for a compressed gas valve that will prevent cylinder rocketing and damage to the surrounding environment should the valve be accidently broken off. The participants will be expected to provide technical expertise to a manufacturing and testing program. The participant should also have the business structure and resources necessary to successfully commercialize the technology resulting from the performance of this cooperative effort.
