COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF FEBRUARY 23,1995 PSA#1289NOAA, WASC, Procurement Division WC33, 7600 Sand Point Way NE, BIN
C15700, Seattle, WA 98115 66 -- WATER SAMPLING BOTTLES POC For a copy of the specifications call
Klint Demetrio at 206-526-4499. The National Oceanographic and
Atmospheric Administration, Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory
(NOAA/PMEL) has developed a water sampling bottle for oceanographic use
that can be mounted on CTD frames and tripped by commercial sampling
devices. The bottles incorporate simple machining of PVC and other
plastics and can be constructed in a variety of sizes. These bottles
were originally designed to minimize contamination of dissolved
chlorofluorocarbon samples, but they have also been used extensively in
general oceanographic water sampling programs. Marketing options exist
with federal laboratories, oceanographic institutions, universities,
and overseas oceanographic centers. NOAA will make available, at no
charge, a copy of the specifications to all interested companies. THIS
IS NOT A PROCUREMENT. (0052) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0440 19950222\66-0014.SOL)
