The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1721. The project is an Indefinite Quantity Contract to obtain various exterior and interior painting work at rates set forth in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity Work Items. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, material, equipment and supervision required to perform surface preparation on previously painted and un-painted buildings, application of new paint, taping and spackling work, replacement of caulking and putty, repair of flashing/sheetmetal, repair of concrete cracks and spall, cutting/trimming of trees and shrub and other related work. The work also includes, the removal and disposal of lead containing paint and incidental related work. The work shall be located at various military installations on Guam. The term of the contract is Base Year and four Option Years. The contract minimum is $50,000.00 per year. The contract term shall commence on the date of award and shall be for a period of twelve months or until the maximum amount of work has been ordered, whichever occurs first. The Government may extend the term of the contract in accordance with the OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT clause. The estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 for the Base Year. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about 15 March 1995 at no charge and issued on a first come first serve basis. Only one set per request.
