541-3504. The Environmental Protection Agency's Region I has a
requirement for the preparation of National Environmental Policy Act
(NEPA), Wetlands, and Marine-Related studies. Engineering and
scientific support are sought for studies which might include subjects
such as NEPA reviews of steam electric generating facilities, ocean
disposal site selection, air quality, marine pollution loading
identification and evaluation, noise and traffic assessments for
proposed facilities, development of watershed management plans,
preparation of ocean discharge evaluations, wetland protection studies,
and development of mitigation plans. It is anticipated that
solicitation D500045M1 will be release on or around March 17, 1995 and
that proposals will be due approxoimately 30 days after issuance. Two
contracts, a ''primary'' and a ''secondary'' contract, will be awarded
as a result of this solicitation. It is anticipated that the resulting
cost-plus-fixed-fee, level-of-effort type contracts will have
twenty-four month base periods and three twelve month options. The
total duration of the proposed contracts is sixty months. The
''primary'' contract will have a minimum of 1032 hours, with option
increases up to a maximum of 10320 hours in the base period and 5160
hours in the option periods, with a total contract maximum over the
sixty month period of 25,800 hours. The ''secondary'' contract will
have a minimum of 430 hours, with option increases up to a maximum of
2580 hours in the base period and 1290 hours in the option period, with
a total contract maximum over the sixty month period of 6450 hours.
Interested parties may obtain a copy of the solicitation by submitting
a written request. Please include five self-addressed labels with your
request. A copy of the source list will be included with the
solicitation. FAX requests for the solicitation will not be honored. A
limited number of copies is available. Only one copy shall be issued
to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from one or
