The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO), formerly the Defense Commercial Communications Office (DECCO), intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Aeronautical Radio Inc. (ARINC) for lease of a specialized data communications service for obtaining information from and making transactions with commercial airlines under contract with the Air Force. The Air Force will utilize this service for the following information: passengers names, seat availability, airway bills, communications for the Automated Manifest System (CAMS) and Air Passenger Interface (API). The Air Force transactions through this service are: confirming military passenger reservations and movement of commercial aircraft, and exchange of messages. Locations are: McGuire AFB NJ and Travis AFB CA. The contract period is one base year with four one-year options.
