Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) plans to award a firm-fixed price order under
Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-93-G-0185 required by Military
Interdepartmental Procurement Request N00019-95-MP-BPAZF for the
fabrication and installation services associated with the retrofit
incorporation of the Improved Battery Charger/Monitor and 19 Cell
Battery into the Taiwan Lot I and II AH-1W helicopters (total of 34
kits) and two kits for Composite Maintenance Trainers. NAVAIRSYSCOM
plans to award the order to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., P.O. Box
482, Fort Worth, Texas 76101, the manufacturer of the AH-1W helicopter.
The services shall be performed in accordance with Engineering Change
Proposal 1672R1 and completed ten months after order is executed.
Interests in subcontracting opportunities should be directed to Bell
Helicopter Textron, Inc. at the address provided above. This
procurement is being contracted on a basis of ''other than full and
open competition'', and this synopsis is for informational purposes
