R -- TECHNICAL SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF TRIDENT FLIGHT TEST, SMILS/PILS, ALDOT AND ALMET MAINTENANCE OPERATION Sol. N00030-96-R-0002. Due 043095. POC: Kim Davis, SPN-23, (703) 607-0826. Technical services in support of TRIDENT flight tests during the period of 01 Oct 1995 through 30 Sep 1996 (with four one year option periods). The contractor shall provide technical services at the Air Force 45th Space Wing in support of: (1) sonobuoy missiles impact location system (SMILS) and portable impact location system (PILS), (2) air launched deep ocean transponder (ALDOT) array maintenance operations, and (3) air launched meteorlogical (ALMET) probe deployment. The contractor's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, determining geodetic location of fleet ballistic missile re-entry body impacts, modifiying antisubmarine warfare sonobuoys, deploying ALMET probes and performing array maintenance. Copies of the solicitation (RFP N00030-96-R-0002) must be requested in writing; telephone requests will NOT be honored. The RFP will be issued o/a March 31, 1995.
