SOL N62472-92-B-0046 DUE 042895 POC Contact Point, SHEILA BROWN fax, (610)595-0646, Contracting Officer, AL RANDAZZO, (610)595-0626 This project includes the provision for additions and modifications to the potable water system to insure reliability and quality in compliance with the NJSDWA to include: the installations of potable water supply wells; a new 100,000 gallon elevated storage tank; water dist. supply main additions; a new water treatment plant and building; interconnecting distribution loops; installation of raw water mains to connect existing supply well #4 to the existing treatment plant; installation of a line addition system for supply well #4; a high capacity deep well to serve as a back up water supply for the high pressure steam plant at the Catapult test facility; transformers and associated electrical panels; utility lines; and any other incidental related work. This solicitation will include an experience clause which will require the bidders to submit with their bid specific information demonstrating their ability to meet the minimum qualifications consistent with the construction of a water treatment facility, including the equipment, wells, and the disinfection of the piping, treatment facility, and the new wells in accordance with AWWA & EPA standards. They must have a minimum of 3 supervisory personnel who have at least 5 years of experience in satisfactory supervision of the construction of water treatment facilities, water storage tanks, and well installations. The personnel must also have experience in: the disinfection of piping, potable water treatment facilities, water storage tanks, and water wells.
