The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Upgrade existing dikes, basin areas and unloading header areas by providing impervious containment and treatment for tank condensate and storm water. Instal drainage system to drain stormwater and to contain fuel spills in the unloading header area. Remove basin lining material and replace with HDPE 60 mil liner with drains and oil/water separator. Add new floor of 12'' of sand between the new floor and existing floor for both tanks of 20,000 BBL and 30,000 BBL. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 360 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a March 14, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request and receipt of payment of $35.00 per set (non-refundable) with check made payable to ''Omaha District, Corps of Engineers.''
