(402)221-4266. The work will include the following: (Approx.
quantities) The construction of a Crash Fire Rescue Training Facility
incl: (1) A 150 ft dia burn pit area, 150 ft long pipe trench, and a 96
ft square x 6 ft deep holding pond lined with layers of geotextile
fabric, sand, high density polyethylene (HDPE) liner (60 mil), and HDPE
drainage net, (2) Crushed rock surface in burn pit, and 50 ft drive
around area, (3) A Government Furnished Contractor Installed (GFCI)
steel aircraft mockup in burn pit area consisting of steel plates and
shapes, corrugated steel, structural tubing and pipe, etc. The GFCI
mockup fuselage is approximately 12 ft in diameter, wingspan 75 ft and
tip to tail length of 77 ft, (4) A control tower for the operation of
the fire training facility consisting of a 9 ft x 6 ft metal deck on
a structural steel frame approximately 9 ft in height, (5) Liquid
propane fuel system including propane tank, pumps, piping, and valves,
(6) Water and drain lines with associated pumps, piping, hydrants,
lift station, valves, and weir structure, (7) Electrical items
including pad mounted transformer (75 KVA), area lighting, electrical
service rack, controls, cathodic protection, ignitor system, motor
starters, grounding systems, and all associated conduit and wiring
layouts, and (8) All associated clearing and grubbing, grading,
subdrainage system, leak detection system, riprap, trenching, fencing,
and concrete pads. The estimated construction cost of this project is
between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will
be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to
commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the
work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions
will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete
the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be
required. Bid sets will be available on/a March 10, 1995. Half-size
plans and specifications will be furnished upon request and receipt of
payment of $45.00 per set (non-refundable) with check made payable to
''Omaha District, Corps of Engineers.'' Please list street address
