The Defense Mapping Agency is considering the lease of equipment to satisfy its conventional and Global Positioning System (GPS) survey data acquisition programs. These programs are accomplished all over the United States and the world by DMA personnel operating out of locations in California, New Mexico, Florida and Missouri. The specific survey equipment under consideration for lease are: high accuracy dual frequency GPS receivers; 1 second/1part per 1,000,000 total stations; and associated survey data storage, communications, and processing systems. Companies with interest are invited to provide their relevant qualifications and capabilities in supporting this potential government requirement. This sources sought synopsis is not a solicitation for proposal and does not imply that a solicitation will be issued.
