301/713-0829 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration,
Office of Public and Constituent Affairs has a requirement for services
to read and clip nationwide printed media. Clippings that pertain to
NOAA's mission and services to the public are to be provided twice
weekly. Printed media is to include, but not necessarily limited to,
all daily and non-daily newspapers (including weekly, monthly, etc.),
journals and magazines (including news, science, technology, sports,
hobby and fishing issues), newsletters, and trade journals, etc. There
is no hign end or low end to a requirement for circulation of the
printed media. The contractor shall also provide such services on a
more frequent basis during emergencies, such as floods, hurricanes,
toxic waste spills, and other natural or man-made disasters in which
NOAA is featured. The contract is anticipated to be awarded as a
firm-fixed price contract for a base period of 12 months and three
12-month option periods. Requests for the solicitation package must be
