National Park Service and the Navajo Nation are seeking qualified
applicants to develop and operate the Antelope Point Resort and Marina
Complex, consisting of lodging, food, beverage, merchandise, service
station, campground, tourboat transportation, and marina related
services. This is a fully competitive solicitation. This is the first
phase of a two-phase solicitation process. The Request for
Qualifications will be used to create a ''short list'' of qualified
applicants for phase two, which will be a Prospectus. Applicants must
qualify under the Request for Qualifications phase to be eligible to
compete in the Prospectus phase of this solicitation. The Prospectus is
expected to be announced in 1995, pending the results of the review of
responses to the Request for Qualifications. Currently, there is no
commercial operation located at the Antelope Point Project Area. This
phase requires an application by letter that responds to the criteria
and questions posed in the Request for Qualifications, which is
available by writing or calling: National Park Service, Facilities and

letters will be accepted for SIXTY (60) calendar days under the terms
described in the Request for Qualifications. The SIXTY (60) day
application period will begin with the release of the Request for
Qualifications, which will occur shortly after publication of this
