CONSTRUCTION, ETC. FOR UP TO 50 PRE-ENGINEERED BLDGS IN THE BALTIMORE
MD DISTRICT AREA Solicitation #232098-95-A-0088. DUE 031795. POC Joan

contract resulting from this solicitation will include site preparation
as necessary for installation of a premanufactured modular unit. All
necessary rough and final grading, mulching, and seeding, graveled
parking surface, paved handicap parking, foundation and crawl space.
Mail loading platform (12'x12' concrete pad) and 20' Flag Pole. All
rough-in and final connections for utility services to include
electrical, site lighting, well or city water, septic or city sewer,
and telephone conduit, a 20 L.F. flag pole, and a concrete pad for HVAC
condensing unit (unit provided by the Modular Manufacturer, installed
and connected by this contractor). The modular unit typically is a 960
square foot prefabricated structure delivered to the site by the
manufacturer and set on our foundation by his forces. The contract
covers the Baltimore MD District Area. At the discretion of the
Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors
must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as of the date of
issue in general construction work. Contractors must also possess the
capabilities of working at least three to four jobs at the same time.
Specific Work Order/s will be issued by the Contracting Officer in
accordance with the Unit Price Schedule and Specifications. One or more
``Work Orders'' will be issued totaling not more than $250,000.00
during a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of
$250,000.00 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the
Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of
$1,000,000.00. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work
Orders nor a specific amount. The contractor will not be required to
perform work under any work order where the value of work in any one
building is less than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit
One(1) ``Multiplier'' to be applied to the various Unit Prices
established in the ``Unit Price Schedule''. The Multiplier must contain
the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other
contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract
award. Offers are due by 2:00 PM on March 17, 1995. Plans and
Specifications will be available at $25.00 per set, Non-Refundable,

Solicitation packages may be obtained at the Facilities Service Office,
US Postal Service, PO Box 701, Columbia MD 21045-0701. Personal visits
and telephone calls for the purpose of discussing this project are
discouraged. Since this is a negotiated Solicitation, offers will not
be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the
offerors, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the
offer will not be disclosed to anyone except those postal personnel
whose official duties require such information until award of contract
