A -- DRILLING SERVICES Contact Mr. Mike Stone. Lockheed Idaho Technologies Company (LITCO), P.O. Box 1625, Idaho Falls, ID 83415-3810. LITCO is the prime operating contractor for the Department of Energy at Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL). LITCO is seeking firms which can provide drilling services for the installation of environmental monitoring wells and floating free product extraction wells at March Air Force Base, California. The contaminant of concern is JP-4 jet fuel. Interested California Licensed drilling firms should be capable of providing one auger rig and supporting equipment capable of hollow stem augering 14 inch borings (10.25 inch ID augers) and installing 6 inch diameter casing and screen, and augering 12 inch boring (8.25 inch ID augers) and installing 4 inch diameter casing and screen to a depth of approximately 70 ft in unconsolidated silts and sands. The Subcontractor shall be required to conduct environmental soil sampling with the split spoon during drilling. The subcontractor shll be capable of Shelby tube sampling for soil physical properties during drilling. Interested California Licensed drilling firms shall be able to provide support aquifer testing. Interested California Licensed drilling firms capable of performing the above tasks shall respond by providing documented information which demonstrates their qualifications and previous in enviromental drilling operations to: Mr. Mike C.
