ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH & SAFETY The U.S. Department of the Interior
Conference on the Environment and Health & Safety is scheduled for
April 24 - 28, 1995, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Conference
attendance is estimated at 700-800 individuals, representing all of the
bureaus and offices within the Department of Interior: The Bureau of
Indian Affairs, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Fish
and Wildlife Service, Minerals Management Service, National Biological
Service, Office of Surface Mining, U.S. Bureau of Mines, and the U.S.
Geological Survey. The purpose of the conference is for Department of
the Interior personnel to meet and exchange information on technology
for the clean-up or prevention of pollution, safety and health, nad
natural resource damage assessment and restoration. The conference will
feature an exhibit area with a limited number of 8' x 10' ft. spaces
that exhibitors can rent directly from the conference hotel. Additional
costs, e.g., electrical, telephone, etc., will also be assessed by the
hotel, as applicable. Companies that supply goods and/or services
related to (1) environmental assessment, (2) clean-up and monitoring,
(3) health and safety are invited to participate as exhibitors at the
conference. The deadline for exhibitor registration is March 15, 1995.
However, exhibit space is limited and may not be available through
that date. Exhibits will be reserved on a ``first come, first served''
basis in each one of the above categories. For further information,
