D -- SOFTWARE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT SOL RFQ JM-IWCS-P1 POC Jeff Marshall, LSO-360, Kennedy Space Center, FL 32899. Lockheed Space Operations Company (LSOC), a NASA prime contractor at Kenndy Space Center, (KSC), FL, seeks sources which can provide three programmer/analysts to support LSOC in software design and development of the Flight Element Planning and Scheduling System (FEPSS) activity for the balance of the Integrated Work Control System (IWCS) two-year tactical plan. Work will be for approximately 17 months and must be done at KSC with office space and appropriate development hardware and software to be provided by LSOC. All software produced under the contract will be the property of the Government Kennedy. Each of the three programmer/analysts must have a minimum of two years experience in the following: system design for distributed workstation-based applications, component design for distributed workstation-based applications, workstation-based software development tools, object-oriented design, C++ programming language, UNIX operating systems (preferably Sub/OS and Solaris), communications skills, and with knowledge of X-Windows/Motif and planning and scheduling being highly desirable. In addition to the foregoing, one analyst must be proficient in LISP/CLOS programming and construction techniques, and another must be proficient in GUI construction techniques (preferably X-Windows/Motif) and GUI design and layout techniques. Programmer/Analysts will be supporting: development of the FEPSS graphical user interface, enhancement of the current LSIP based planning and scheduling engine, and development of a new C++ based planning and scheduling engine. Formal solicitation, which is contingent upon availability of funds, will require resumes and three work references for each candidate, who will be subject to LSOC's acceptance.
