This SOURCES SOUGHT Notice is issued to identify potential sources (small businesses, disadvantage businesses, woman-owned small businesses, and large businesses) for analytical laboratory Services for EG&G Mound Applied Technologies, Inc., a Management and Operating Contractor under contract with the U.S. Department of Energy, in support of CERCLA, RCRA and other Regulatory Compliance checks. The sample media will consist of the following: air, water, groundwater, soil, environmental, bioassay, concrete, metal, and construction materials. Samples are both radiologically and non-radiologically contaminated. The analytes will consist of the following: volatile organic compounds, semi-volatile organic compounds, pesticides/PCBs, anions, explosives, metls, tritium, Strontium-90, plutonium isotopes, uranium isotopes, thorium isotopes, radium-226, americium-241, BOD, fecal coloform, and other NPDES wastewater analytes. Required laboratory methods are EPA CLP methods, alpha spectroscopy, gamma spectroscopy, liquid scintillaton, SW 8330, and EPA 500 and 600 series. Some laboratory services require the following special requirements: able to generate EPA Contract Laboratory Program reports, licensed to accept and analyze radiologically contaminated samples, and certified to perform drinkwater analyses.
