Transition Region and Coronal Explorer (TRACE) SOLAR ARRAY PANELS SOL RFP5-14615/229 NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) intends to issue (Request for Proposal) RFP-14615/229, for the design, fabrication, test and delivery of four space flight solar array panels, one qualification model and a selection of component samples. The panels solar shall convert sunlight into electrical energy for the TRACE instrument. The solar array shall consist of four flat panels. The anticipated delivery schedule for the panels is 66 weeks after the effective date of the contract. We anticipate a firm fixed price contract. The Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) goal for this effort is 5 percent. We expect to release the RFP by the end of February.
