As the equipment is for use in Okinawa, Japan Offerors must identify the source who will be responsible to provide on-site warranty maintenance service in Okinawa, Japan. No contract award shall be made on the basis of any response to this notice, because the synopsis of intent to place an order against the schedule contract shall not be considered a solicitation document. No solicitaion document exists and no telephone inquiries will be honored. Written responses, including GSA contract number (if applicable), complete pricing information and technical data in sufficient detail to determine the offeror's capability of meeting the requirement must be received by this office within 15 calendar days frm publicaton of this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time to determine that a comparable source moree advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be placed with the above named vendor against their current GSA schedule. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
